People are FED UP with greedy corporate landlords who take advantage of tenants and ruin neighborhoods

Step 1

Contact Cornerstone

Submit your complaint in writing via an email to Cornerstone. This is important because you want a paper trail of complaints. Send a new email every time you see an issue in the garage.

Step 2

Contact the Community Resource Department

Community Resource Officers (CRO) provide assistance on issues such as neighbor disputes, public nuisances, zoning issues, fraud and crime prevention, and other neighborhood concerns.

Step 3

Contact City Council

Notify your council person of your issue. For residents of Cap Hill, Chris Hinds is our city council representative.

Step 4

Contact Your State Representative

State Rep. Steven Woodrow is a lawyer and lawmaker committed to affordable housing and tenants' rights.

He sponsored a state law that would prohibit rental agreements from including clauses that prevent tenants from joining or supporting class or collective claims. It ensures that tenants retain their right to participate in class action lawsuits to protect their rights collectively.
